9.30am to 11.30am Saturday mornings during the school term
Fun introductory children’s music lessons teaching music through singing, dancing and playing percussion instruments. Our group classes stimulate creativity and imagination, promote teamwork and develop self-confidence. The lessons are engaging, fun and intrinsically teach music concepts that make learning an instrument easier.
Our Prep to Grade 3 Program is designed to develop skills needed for instrumental studies through listening and responding to music. Students participate in three sessions during the morning, singing, dance and percussion class.
Sing Out Loud
A fun singing based program that aims to teach children to sing independently and tunefully. The children will start to read music through songs, games and rounds. Their voice is their first instrument. In the second year of the program some children will be given the opportunity to learn Recorder.
An exciting percussion program where the children will learn to perform in an ensemble on a variety of instruments provided at the Music School. Many musical concepts are explored like rhythm, pitch, beat and tempo using Glockenspiels, Xylophones,Drums etc.
Now you can Dance
A performance based program using dance, the children will be encouraged to express themselves and produce on stage performances. Dance encourages rhythmic development and group experience.
